Hoshiarpur- Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur Dr. Amandeep Kaur PCS today conducted surprise inspection of various items of basic facilities like road, drinking water, sewerage system, street lights and garbage management at the Focal Point.
On this occasion, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Corporation Engineer, Mr. Lovedeep Singh Assistant Corporation Engineer, Mr. Pawan Kumar Junior Engineer, Mr. Janak Raj Sanitary Inspector, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sanitary Inspector, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sanitary Inspector, Mr. Gaurav Sharma Assistant Manager, Mr. Harvinder Saini President Focal Point Association and other officials were present. On this occasion, the Commissioner held detailed discussions with the representatives of the Focal Point, the officials demanded that a Safai Karamchari and a gardener should be appointed permanently for cleaning the Focal Point.
On this occasion, the Commissioner directed the officers to take immediate action to appoint the said employees and these employees should be appointed only for the work of Focal Point. The officials of the Focal Point demanded re-boring of the tubewell, on which the corporation engineer said that the estimate for installing a new tubewell at this place has been passed and soon a new tubewell will be installed.
The Commissioner instructed the officials to first check the condition of the old tubewell, if it can be repaired by re-boring, then action should be taken. The Commissioner checked the STP plant installed at the Focal Point, on this occasion instructions were given that the instructions issued by the Honorable National Green Tribunal should be followed.
After this, the Commissioner specially checked the processing center located at Pipalwala, there it was found that the old garbage has almost been removed and a garden has been prepared to keep the environment clean and instructions were given to the officials to make a nursery at this place in future.
