SAS Nagar, April 8: Panditrao Dharenavar of Karnataka, who named his daughter Khivi after Mata Khivi Ji, celebrated his daughter's 11th birthday in a unique way. On this day, kheer was made in desi ghee and distributed to the people and people were told about the great service of Mata Khivi.
People were informed that if the name of any woman is recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib, then only Mata Khivi's name is recorded and Mata Khivi used to make langar of desi ghee for unknown people.
Khivi, who studies in class VI in Government School Sector 37, is interested in Punjabi language and she also recites Sri Japuji Sahib Ji.
