Hoshiarpur- In the memory of Sant Baba Hari Singh Kaharpur, Sant Baba Hari Singh Model School Mahilpur, running under the Sikh Educational Council, organized a Gurmit Samagam on the occasion of the commencement of the new session of the school. On this occasion, Jaap of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Ji was performed and the students of the college prayed for the progress of the school. On this occasion, Bhai Juginder Singh Riar performed Gurbani Kirtan and Dhadi Gurpratap Padam performed Dhadi Var.

On the occasion of the ceremony, Principal of the college Shibu Mathew K. welcomed the students on the occasion of the new session and said that from this session, the school started eleventh class medical, non-medical, commerce and art subjects in which more than 60 students took admission. He also shed light in detail on the concessions being given to the school students by the Sikh Educational Council.
