Hoshiarpur- Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishna Singh Raudi today, while taking information about the development works and benefits of welfare schemes from the officers of various departments at the local District Administrative Complex, said that the pending development works should be completed as soon as possible.
Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi, while reviewing the development works related to Garhshankar Assembly constituency along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Nikas Kumar, asked the officers to speed up the ongoing development works. He said that it should be ensured that the benefits of the welfare schemes of the government reach the beneficiaries easily so that they can take full advantage of these schemes.
The Deputy Speaker, while reviewing the works of Rural Development and Panchayat and Water Supply and Sanitation departments, said that along with regularizing every kutcha house in the constituency, providing uninterrupted water supply to the people is also included in his priority. 
Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi asked the officers to prepare a detailed proposal of the development works to be done in various villages so that the necessary funds can be released for these works and necessary facilities can be provided to the people.
He said that for the convenience of the people, the issues related to the Kandi villages should be resolved on priority basis and every basic facility should be provided in these areas. He said that the targets set under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann would be successfully achieved, for which necessary cooperation of every section is mandatory.
Apart from the officers of various departments, Chairman of Garhshankar Market Committee Baldeep Singh, OSD Charanjit Singh Channi etc were also present on this occasion.
