Hoshiarpur- A special plantation drive was conducted on the occasion of World Arbor Day by the students of Rayat Bahra Pharmacy and Management College through joint efforts. Under this campaign, the Management Department planted trees in village Bohan and Rayat Bahra Institute of Pharmacy Hoshiarpur campus.
The campaign was successfully completed under the leadership of Director Principal Dr. Harinder Gill and Principal Dr. Maninder Grover. With the help of Herbal Garden Team Coordinator Shiv Kumar and Harnek Singh, medicinal plants were planted which will be useful for environmental conservation, medicinal use and pharmacognostic studies.
In this regard, Campus Director Dr. Chandra Mohan said that Rayat Bahra Group continuously organizes such programs to strengthen the sense of social responsibility of the students. On this occasion, teachers and students participated and pledged to create awareness towards environmental conservation.
