Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's birthday was celebrated at Red Cross De-Addiction Centre.

Nawanshahr- A seminar was organized on Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's birthday at Red Cross Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Drug Victim, Nawanshahr under the chairmanship of Project Director Mr. Chaman Singh. On this occasion, while presenting his views, he shared detailed information on Dr. Ambedkar's biography that how he rose from a low caste to get higher education and fought for the rights of his caste and community.

On this occasion, while presenting his views, he shared detailed information on Dr. Ambedkar's biography that how he rose from a low caste to get higher education and fought for the rights of his caste and community.
He told that he gave speeches for the welfare of poor and backward people in the Round Table Conferences held in London and made the backward people aware of their rights. He told that he played a key role in drafting the Constitution of independent India and became the Law Minister of the country.
Dr. Ambedkar ji dedicated his entire life for the welfare of poor and backward people and while drafting the Constitution of India, he took special care of these people and gave equal rights to women as men. Baba Saheb said that we can protect our rights only by raising the slogan of 'Read, Join, Struggle'.
He said that we should read historical books and share information about the history of each holiday. Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur and Kamaljit Kaur (Counselor) also shared their views on the occasion. All the staff members paid tribute to him. Manjit Singh, Parveen Kumari, Pravesh Kumar, Kamala Rani and patients were present on the occasion.
