Una, March 29- Along with the auditions for the state level Haroli Utsav, the categorization process for the artists of Una district will also be completed. Let us tell you, the auditions for the artists for this festival have been kept from 8 to 10 April at Lata Mangeshkar Kala Kendra, Samur Kalan. The auditions of the artists of Una district will be held on the first two days, 8 and 9 April. During this time, the categorization process of the local artists will also be completed by the District Language Department. Along with the selection of artists for the cultural evening programs of the festival, the work of classification in category A, B, C will also be done.
The classification will be useful in fairs across the state
Nikku Ram said that with this, the artists participating in the international, national, state and district level fairs and festivals in the state will be properly classified and categorized. This selection process will be for the artists participating in various folk genres like singing, playing, dancing, drama, folk tales etc. The selected artists will be categorized on the basis of their performance and will get the opportunity to perform in various fairs, cultural programs and festivals.

There will be classification in A, B, C category on the basis of performance
Nikku Ram said that artists who have performed seven times in prime time in state level fairs, five times at national level and three times at international level and Himachali artists, who have won or runner-up position in major TV live shows like Indian Idol, Sa Re Gama etc., will be included in the higher category A Plus. Artists who have won or runner-up position in youth festivals and musical groups who have participated three times in international and national level programs, will be included in second category A. Accordingly, they will have to get the certificate of presentation from the concerned committee or institution and submit it to the department by April 8.
Apart from this, if any artist has been categorized by Radio, Doordarshan or any other government recognized institution or department like Public Relations Department etc., they are not required to participate in this selection process. But they will have to submit the photocopy of the category certificate to the department by April 8.
The artists participating in this process will have to bring passport size photo and photocopy of Aadhar card and account number for registration.
