Hoshiarpur- As part of the Punjab government's campaign to strengthen education, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today launched the admission drive for the academic section 2025-26 in Government Middle School Bahadurpur. On this occasion, he appealed to parents and students to get admission in government schools and said that the Punjab government is committed to providing quality, modern education to children.
MLA Jimpa said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is continuously making efforts to raise the standard of education in government schools. Smart classrooms, modern facilities, experienced teachers and co-curricular activities are being encouraged in schools. He said that to bring about improvements in the education sector, the government has renovated schools on a large scale, established new Schools of Eminence and recruited teachers. Due to which children are getting better education than in private schools.
MLA Jimpa appealed to parents to enroll their children in government schools and said that the Punjab government is making every possible effort to transform government schools into quality education centers. He said that today smart classes, English medium, digital learning, sports and cultural activities are also being increased in government schools, so that the students can have all-round development.
He said that not only good education is being provided in government schools, but facilities like free books, uniforms and mid-day meals are also being provided to the children. Apart from this, children are also being prepared for competitive examinations, so that they can succeed in government jobs and other fields in the future.
Finally, MLA Jimpa said that it is the effort of the Punjab government that no child should be deprived of education and that all children should get equal opportunities for a good future. He appealed to all parents to enroll their children in government schools.
