Sangrur- The conference started with a minute's silence. A presidium was formed to run the convention smoothly. In which Amrik Singh, Karamjit Kaur, Darshan Singh, Hamir Singh of the Union were present. On this occasion, the main speaker of the convention, the state president of the Union, Sanjeev Mintu, while talking on the question of Shaheed Bhagat Singh's ideology and workers' liberation, said that even today the people of India are forced to live a life of slavery.
The ruling parties are doing politics in the name of our martyrs. Apart from this, those who are struggling to save water, forests and land. Those people are being killed in fake encounters by calling them Naxalites, Maoists. Here the so-called democracy has also become a sham. Without ending the division of land, the liberation of the hardworking people is not possible. Today's conference was also addressed by the state leader of the Union, Darshan Tahliyan and Master Balveer Chand Longowal.
District President Baljit Singh performed the responsibility of the stage secretary very well. In today's conference, the union's district secretary Jagdeep read out the resolutions which were passed by the people present in the conference by raising their hands. Apart from this, important resolutions were passed in the conference against the arrest of farmers, forced demolition, forced removal of teachers from the protest in Chunke village, arrest, atrocities on Palestinian people by Israel and indiscriminate atrocities on tribals fighting to protect water, forest and land and fake police encounters.
Preet Kaur Dhuri, Billu Namol, Nirbhay Maur etc. presented revolutionary songs in today's conference. District leader Karamjit Kaur thanked the people who came to the program. The conference ended with loud cheers.
