SAS Nagar, March 26- Shemrock Senior Secondary School-Sector 69-organised a special session discussing the important role of language in the mental, social and emotional development of children. School Principal Praneet Sohal said that methods such as using encouraging words, providing examples of empathy, reframing negative statements positively, building ideal relationships were shared during the session.
Common concerns related to inappropriate language were addressed as well as effective solutions were provided to positively guide children, stressing on the importance of parental influence, family members need to set an example of ideal communication to ensure a nurturing and supportive environment for the overall development of children.
On this occasion, school chairman AS Bajwa said that today knowledge alone is not enough for a child's success, achieving something new requires skill as well as dedication and courage, starting a new venture requires leadership, communication skills and decision-making ability.
