These words were expressed by Block President of Punjab Subordinate Services Union Narinder Ajanoha and District Leader Amarjit Kumar when a group of employees left from the block for Chandigarh Assembly siege. The leaders said that the labourers, farmers, employees and the general public are unhappy with the Punjab Government.
Employees and pensioners are protesting against the government for old pension, arrears of pay commission and dearness allowance, reduction in 37 allowances, ACP, 2018 service rules, new education policy, not to close middle schools, increase in salary of mid-day meal workers, proper policy for outsourcing, recruitment and all types of temporary employees, 2.59 coefficient for pensioners, cancellation of central pay commission, reduction in posts, merging computer teachers in education department and many other legitimate and valid demands.
The leaders demanded that the Punjab government should resolve the demands of employees and pensioners soon. On this occasion, the employees raised slogans against the Punjab government. On this occasion, employees like Satnam Singh, Tekchand, Gurnam Chand, Surinder Singh, Amarjit Singh, Vinod Kumar, Suchha Singh, Ravinder Kumar, Satpal, Parminder Singh, Rajan, Irfan Khan, Gurmukh Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Jasveer Kaur, Baljeet Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Jasveer Kaur Langeri, Kuldeep Singh, Om Prakash, Gurjeet Singh, Manjeet Singh and others were present.
