Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that the electrification of Timenar marks the beginning of a new era of governance and development in the remote areas of Bastar. According to an official statement, 'All 53 houses of Timenar village under Bechapal Gram Panchayat of Bhairamgarh Development Block have been electrified for the first time after 77 years of independence under the 'Mukhya Manjra-Tola Bijlikaran Yojana'.
According to the statement, this remarkable achievement symbolizes the end of Maoist terror and the beginning of development, peace and prosperity in the region. The people of Timenar expressed happiness, saying that the arrival of electricity has ended the atmosphere of fear and insecurity and is a significant step towards improving their quality of life.
They said, ‘For the first time, electricity has come to our village. We are no longer afraid of the darkness of the night. Our children can now study easily and finally we feel that we are on the path of development.’
