
The process of linking ration cards with Aadhaar cards continues
Una, January 15- District Controller, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Rajiv Sharma informed that under e-KYC, ration cards are being linked with Aadhar cards in the district so that all eligible beneficiaries can be identified and they can be provided the benefits of schemes run by the government.

He informed that at present the process of 3,25,955 consumers has been completed in the district, while e-KYC of the remaining consumers is still pending. He said that the ration cards of those consumers who have not yet done e-KYC will be temporarily blocked.
Rajiv Sharma appealed to all ration card holders to ensure that they get e-KYC done along with their ration card soon. Consumers can complete their e-KYC by downloading 'e-KYC PDS HP' application from Google Play Store at home and entering their ration card number and Aadhaar number and through face verification. Apart from this, consumers can also complete their e-KYC process through biometrics by visiting their nearest fair price shop or Lokmitra Kendra.
