Imphal: At least four militants of the banned outfit ‘United National Liberation Front’ (Pombai) were injured in a clash with members of Meitei extremist outfit ‘Arambai Tangol’ in Imphal East district of Manipur.
The police have taken four injured militants of UNLF (Pombai) into custody and they are undergoing treatment at a hospital, a police official said.
The incident took place on Saturday when 15-20 members of Arambai Tangol barged into the house of UNLF militant Irengbam Nandkumar Singh (56) in Kongpal Chingangbam Leikai and attacked the militants of the related outfit.
