Use electricity wisely, one unit saved is equal to one unit generated
Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the officials that all the necessary repair work should be completed on time to maintain smooth power supply, so that the general public does not face any kind of inconvenience. He also appealed to the citizens to use electricity in a restrained and wise manner and said that do not keep the electrical equipment on unnecessarily, because one unit of electricity saved is equal to one unit of electricity generated.
Superintending Engineer Balraj Sangar said that recently necessary repair works have been done in the district on Sunday and repair works will continue in some areas in the next one to two weeks. During this time, power supply may be temporarily affected, for which consumers have been appealed to cooperate.
Do not keep the temperature of AC below 25 degrees, this can save up to 50 percent in electricity bill
The Superintending Engineer suggested to the consumers that do not keep the temperature of air conditioner (AC) below 25 degrees. By adopting this measure, saving of about 50 percent in electricity bill is possible. He said that last year in summer, the average demand for electricity in the district was 180 to 190 MW per day at the time of maximum load, while this year it is estimated to increase further. In such a situation, all consumers have been appealed to use electricity responsibly, so that there is no additional pressure on the infrastructure of the electricity board.
Take advantage of PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, subsidy up to 86,500, can make the bill zero
