Una, September 20 – Special arrangements will be in place at Mata Shri Chintpurni Temple from September 22nd to October 1st for the convenience of the people and to maintain law and order during the Ashwin Navratri Fair. District Magistrate Jatin Lal has issued orders exercising his powers under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS).

District Magistrate Jatin Lal has issued orders exercising his powers under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code (BNSS).
According to the order, there will be a complete ban on carrying weapons during the fair, except for those deployed for law and order.
Jatin Lal stated that to prevent noise pollution during Navratri, the use of loudspeakers by anyone other than the temple trust will be strictly prohibited.
There will also be a complete ban on bringing brass bands, drums, long tongs, etc. during the fair. If anyone brings these items with them, they will have to deposit them at the barriers set up by the police. The use of polythene will also be strictly prohibited during this period.
There will also be a ban on setting up langars in the open and on the roadside, and fireworks will also not be permitted.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that during the fair period, it will be mandatory to obtain a slip at the registration counter set up for darshan of Mata Shri Chintpurni Ji. Devotees will not be able to have darshan of Mata Shri Chintpurni Ji without a slip.
