Garhshankar: Under the directions of School Education Department of Punjab Government, promotional van was flagged off from Government Senior Secondary School Haibowal for promotion of admission campaign under the guidance of District Education Officer (SEO) Hoshiarpur Lalita Arora, Block Nodal Officer Kirpal Singh and under the supervision of Principal Raj Kumar.
Giving information in this regard, school principal Raj Kumar said that highly qualified staff is teaching the students in the school. Apart from this, students are taking advantage of the facilities being provided by the government in the field of education. Every year students from this school are achieving achievements at the state level in the field of sports.
Villages like Haibowal, Adarsh ??Nagar, Kambala, Tabba, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Harwan, Nainwan, Garhi Mansowal, Bassi Basti, Shri Khuralgarh Sahib, Kalewal Bait, Sihwan, Sekhowal etc. were identified in the route of admission promotion van. He said that the admission campaign is getting good response.
Separate teams of teachers have been formed for the feeder villages who will visit every house after the inspection work. On the occasion of sending off the publicity van, lecturer Amrik Singh Dayal, Surinder Chand Bains DPE, Shashi Kataria, Ran Bahadur, Shama Kumari, Sukhwinder Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Sudhir Kumar, Varinder Sharma Campus Manager, Amarjit Singh, Vijay Rana, Raj Kumar Bains, Kamaljit Singh, Preeti and students were present.
