Free skill training programs are being started in Doaba College Rahon under Punjab Skill Development Mission - Rajiv Verma

Nawanshahr- Punjab Skill Development Mission, under the leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajiv Verma, is starting free skill training programs for Hospital Front Desk Coordinator (Health Sector) and Retail Sales Executive (Retail Sector) under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana in Doaba College Rahon, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.

Nawanshahr- Punjab Skill Development Mission, under the leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Rajiv Verma, is starting free skill training programs for Hospital Front Desk Coordinator (Health Sector) and Retail Sales Executive (Retail Sector) under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushal Yojana in Doaba College Rahon, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
These free skill training programs are of three to five months duration and the minimum qualification for admission in the course is 12th. During the course, the youth will be provided free hostel facility, free food, free uniform, copies, books and other training material equipped with modern facilities.
After training in these courses, a government certificate will be given by the concerned Sector Skill Council established by the Central Government. After training, the youth will be provided employment opportunities in the concerned institutions, during which their salary will be DC rate of the district or more. Mandatory stipend will be given to the youth during placement. In this regard, the Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the age limit for admission in these courses is from 15 to 35 years. If any youth from any village of the district wants to take admission in these courses, then he can contact the district level team of Punjab Skill Development Mission on the third floor of the District Administrative Complex, Room No. 413 or mobile number 83603-76675 along with 10th, 12th, Aadhar card, caste certificate, two copies of BPL certificate/card (blue card or ration card), four passport size photographs.
