Saroa:- Baba Mahendra Singh UK, President of Nishkam Sevak Jatha UK, specially reached the work site in the kar seva of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Marg Sri Anandpur Sahib-Garhshankar road, which is being carried out under the leadership of Saint Baba Sucha Singh and Saint Baba Satnam Singh, the chief sevak of Kila Anandgarh Sahib. Praising this unique work being done by the saints, he said that with the start of the construction work of Sri Anandpur Sahib-Garhshankar, the decades-old demand of the Sangat will be fulfilled and people will also get great relief.
Baba Mahendra Singh UK further said that every year on the occasion of Hola-Mohalla festival, the Sangat from about 16 districts of Punjab reach Sri Anandpur Sahib through this road. But for a long time, from time to time, the governments did not make any special efforts to build this road. Now, in view of the difficulties of the Sangat, the efforts that the Kar Seva sect has started at its own level are commendable steps.
On this occasion, he appealed to the Sangat to definitely contribute in this Kumbh of service. On this occasion, Sant Baba Satnam Singh said that he had started the repair work of this road on 16 February 2024 and in a year, more than half of the work of this road from Kahnpur Khuhi to Kukkad Mazara has been completed. By November 2025, by the 350th Prakashotsav of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, this road will be ready and dedicated to the Sangat.
On this occasion, Sardar Daljit Singh Bains, a famous social worker of the area, said that the Sangat is happy to see the renovation work of the road and is also praying for the long life of the saints. On this occasion, he appealed to the Sangat to cooperate as much as possible in this great work and said that this road goes to the Guru's house, so the Sangat must give their tithe.
Praising the sevadars, Daljit Singh Bains said that all these people are doing selfless service and are making their lives successful by contributing with their body, mind and money. He said that the saints have also created history by improving the very bad condition of the road leading to the historic Guru Ghar. Which will remain in the minds of the people forever.
