Istri Jagriti Manch celebrated International Women's Day in Nawanshahr

Nawanshahr- Today, Istri Jagriti Manch District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar celebrated International Women's Day at Shaheed Malkit Chand Mehli Bhawan, Banga Road Nawanshahr. This program was dedicated to the struggle leader Istri Jagriti Manch's former state president, late Gurbaksh Kaur Sangha, who led this organization for 31 years. Women need to organize and struggle to achieve their rights. He lashed out at the Modi government and said that this government is anti-women, anti-religious minorities, anti-democratic rights and anti-constitutional. Every person and organization critical of the government is a traitor to the country for this government. Dividing people in the name of religion and violating human rights has become its daily routine.
The insecurity of women has increased under this government and this government has always supported rapists, rioters and corrupt people. He said that women are neither safe in their homes nor outside their homes. Lashing out at the AAP government in Punjab, he said that this government is not fulfilling its promise of giving Rs 1000 per month to every woman in the elections.
Referring to the historical role of women, he said that major social, economic and political changes in history have taken place only with the participation of women. Which were not possible without the participation of women. He said that we should intensify the fight against the current socio-economic-political system, which is the enemy of women.
