Nawanshahr, March 6 - Asha Worker and Facilitator Union held a meeting to discuss their demands and celebrate International Women's Day on March 8. Asha workers and facilitators of Block Nawanshahr participated in this meeting. Addressing the meeting, IFTU State President Kulwinder Singh Waraich, District President of Asha Worker and Facilitator Union Shakuntala Saroy, Rajwinder and Geeta said that the only way to get our demands accepted is through struggle. We should be ready for intense struggle.
They said that Stree Jagriti Manch will celebrate International Women's Day at the district level on March 8 at Malkit Chand Mahli Bhawan Banga Road Nawanshahr and this program will be organized by State President of Stree Jagriti Manch, late Gurbakhsh Kaur. This program will be dedicated to the union. They called for full participation in this program.
