
Commission will conduct random spot visits to inspect effective implementation of schemes – Kuldeep Dhiman
Una, March 5- Himachal Pradesh State Scheduled Caste Commission Chairman Kuldeep Kumar Dhiman said that the Commission will conduct random spot visits across the state to ensure inspection of correct and effective implementation of schemes being run for the welfare of Scheduled Castes. He directed the officials to submit complete details of the beneficiaries, including mobile numbers, to the Commission.

He directed the officials to submit complete details of the beneficiaries, including mobile numbers, to the Commission.
Presiding over the district level review meeting held in the District Council meeting room of Una on Wednesday, Mr. Dhiman said that it will be ensured that the funds allocated under Scheduled Caste Development Programs reach the right beneficiaries as per the prescribed standards. Commission members Advocate Vijay Dogra and Advocate Digvijay Malhotra were also present on the occasion.
Mr. Dhiman said that the Commission will now conduct regular review meetings at the district and sub-division level across the state. He directed the officials to effectively implement the schemes being run for the welfare of Scheduled Castes, so that the eligible beneficiaries can get full benefit of them.
Financial assistance of three lakh rupees under Maharishi Valmiki Kamgar Awas Yojana
The commission chairman said that the Himachal government has started the Maharishi Valmiki Kamgar Awas Yojana, which aims to provide financial assistance to the eligible beneficiaries of the Valmiki community in housing construction. Under this scheme, eligible families will be given financial assistance of three lakh rupees. For this, the annual income of the beneficiary family should be less than two and a half lakh rupees.
Zila Parishad Una President Neelam Kumari, Zila Parishad Vice President Omkar Nath, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal and officers of all departments of the district were present in the meeting.
