Hoshiarpur 28 February- Playing with the future of innocent children is completely unconstitutional and is equivalent to ruining their future. Education policies are limited to writing Smart and School of Eminence on the walls. In this regard, Labor Party President Jai Gopal Dhiman strongly condemned the Punjab Government for keeping 50 percent of the teacher posts vacant in Government High Smart Schools and said that the future of children is being spoiled under discriminatory policies so that the children of poor people can be kept away from higher education.
This also shows violation of basic constitutional and Right to Education Act 2009. Dr. Ambedkar's dreams cannot be fulfilled by taking the Constitution in hand. Until the basic constitutional rights written in the constitution are implemented, a total of 95 children study in the school, out of which 14 study in class 6, 13 in class 7, 21 in class 8, 26 in class 9 and 22 in class 10.
The posts of head teacher, Punjabi, Hindi, DPI, Chowkidar and Safai Karamchari etc. have been deliberately kept vacant in the school and instead of providing education to the children, they are being given incomplete knowledge. On one hand, Punjabi mother tongue is being asked to flourish in Punjab, on the other hand, the posts of Punjabi language are lying vacant in the schools. Dhiman said that already 50 percent posts are vacant in the school and among them also some teachers are on election duty, some in additional work and sometimes on duty in seminars and only the remaining 25 percent children are being given teachers.
Due to the shortage of teachers, incomplete education is given to the children, due to which the future of the children remains incomplete and the goals set for the future of the children are getting weakened. Now the situation is that children want to study and governments are not providing education. There was a time when children showed less interest in schools and teachers appealed for education. Now that time is gone when a single teacher can teach all subjects. It is necessary to have subject-wise teachers in all schools.
Dhiman said that every day we hear the government saying that teachers are being recruited. The loss of one day is raising questions on the ability of the child. It is completely wrong to keep the future of children studying in schools focused on figures. The saddest thing is that drawing subject is being ignored, drawing is a basis of science and technical education.
Dhiman said that drawing is the basis of subjects like medical, civil engineering, mechanical engineering etc. along with medical. Due to the wrong policies of the government, drawing classes till 9th ??and 10th are closed and compulsory classes from 6th to 8th have also been abolished. Incomplete studies in schools without teachers are promoting the tendency of copying among children and teachers.
Children have to suffer the consequences of this copying throughout their lives. Dhiman said that if education is taken out of the cycle of statistics and children are not fully educated, then its consequences will be very bad. The results will be visible.
Dhiman appealed to the people to become aware and cooperate in the education save movement so that the future of the children moves in a strong direction. He demanded from the government that the vacant posts of teachers in schools should be filled immediately without any delay.
