Hoshiarpur, February 27 - Under the guidelines of the Member Secretary of Punjab State Legal Services Authority and under the leadership of District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Dilbag Singh Johal, Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Raj Pal Rawal organized a special awareness program on POCSO Act-2012 and Juvenile Justice Act-2015 with all Judicial Magistrates First Class at the district level.
During the awareness program, information was also given about the care and assistance of the victims by the Judicial Magistrates. He also asked to settle the pending and pre-litigation cases by mutual consent between both the parties in the National Lok Adalat to be held at the district level on 8 March 2025.
Apart from this, a training program was organized by the District Legal Services Authority for making Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter Card, Old Age Pension, Shagun Scheme, Disability Certificate for all the para legal volunteers of district level and sub-division level in the new District and Sessions Court Complex.
This training was provided by the District Legal Services Authority with the support of the Deputy Commissioner, in which the para legal volunteers were given detailed information by Computer Operator Seva Kedar Hoshiarpur Pradeep Singh.
