Nawanshahr 26 February- Today a meeting of Kirti Kisan Union Area Banga was held at village Kahma. Addressing the meeting District Secretary of Kirti Kisan Union Tarsem Singh Bains said that although the Central Government has withdrawn the three black laws, now the Central Government has sent them to the state governments to implement in the form of new agricultural marketing draft.

Addressing the meeting District Secretary of Kirti Kisan Union Tarsem Singh Bains said that although the Central Government has withdrawn the three black laws, now the Central Government has sent them to the state governments to implement in the form of new agricultural marketing draft.
Although the Punjab Government is presenting a resolution in the Assembly to reject this new agricultural marketing draft, the Punjab Government has already accepted to implement it. Therefore Kirti Kisan Union Punjab is organizing Gram Sabhas in village Kahma, Mahil Gehlan and other villages to implement the call of Samyukta Kisan Morcha on 5th March to oppose this agricultural marketing draft and mobilize the farmers. Area Banga President Jarnail Singh Kahma also addressed the meeting and said that MSP should be given on maize, moong, potato, cabbage and pea crops so that farmers can be taken out of the cycle of paddy. Along with this, the debt of the farmers should be waived. Compensation should be given to the farmers who died during the farmers' struggle and a government job should be given to a family member.
He called upon the farmers to mobilize and said that on March 5, they should go to Chandigarh by blocking the roads so that the demands of the farmers are accepted. At this time Swarn Singh Nambardar, Jarnail Singh, Surinder Singh, Kashmir Singh, Sohan Singh Atwal, Kashmir Singh Mallapur Arkan, Nirmal Singh Nambardar Mallapur Arkan, Mahinder Singh and other villagers were present.
