Patiala, February 25- Punjabi University Vice Chancellor Prof. Karamjit Singh was warmly welcomed by the representatives of teaching and non-teaching staff led by Dean Academic Affairs Prof. Narinder Kaur Multani and Registrar Prof. Sanjiv Puri on his arrival at the university campus.
It is notable that eminent educationist and Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar Prof. Karamjit Singh has been given additional charge of Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University. After this Prof. Karamjit Singh reviewed the functioning of the university during various meetings.
He said that Punjabi University has made a significant contribution in the spread of education and it is the duty of all of us to give more impetus to this work. Prof. Karamjit Singh asked the officials to work with determination and dedication to further raise the administrative and academic standards of the university so that the standards and glory of the university can be further enhanced.
Meanwhile, leaders of various unions of the university also welcomed the Vice Chancellor on his arrival at the university and apprised him of their problems.
