SAS Nagar, January 30, 2025:- Two minutes silence was observed today at District Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar, Mohali to remember the contribution of freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during India's freedom struggle.
Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Pareek, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Viraj S Tidke, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Mrs. Sonam Chaudhary and other staff of District Administrative Complex were present in this two minutes silence.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Viraj S Tidke said that this day, celebrated on the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi Ji, reminds us of the freedom fighters of the country who sacrificed their lives for the sake of patriotism to liberate us from the slavery of the British.
SSP Deepak Pareek said that we should always respect our nation especially the great freedom fighters who fought for us against the cruelty of British rulers so that we can get a proud life with a better future.
