Una's para athlete Sunil Kumar achieved great success at the national level
Una, February 21- Para athlete Sunil Kumar of Laliad Santu village of Amb subdivision of Una district has brought laurels to the state by winning the silver medal in javelin throw by performing brilliantly in the 23rd National Para Athletics Championship 2025. This prestigious competition was held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu from 17 to 20 February, in which the best para athletes from across the country participated in various events.

It is worth noting that 24-year-old Sunil Kumar has been passionate about sports since childhood. Despite adverse circumstances and challenges, he achieved this success with his courage, determination and hard work. His family consists of father Rampal, mother Suman Devi and a brother. All the family members and the people of the area are feeling very proud of his achievement.
