
Preparations and arrangements for Nature Fest finalized, five-day fest to begin from Friday
Hoshiarpur, February 19- Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal today reviewed the finalization of preparations for the Nature Fest being organized by the Tourism Department of Punjab Government and the District Administration at the local Lajwanti Sports Stadium from February 21 to 25 at the stadium with the concerned officials.

Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that the Nature Fest will be open to the general public and about 100 stalls will be set up in the stadium, in which various items, artifacts and equipment will be displayed. He said that on the first day Punjabi singer Alaap Sikandar and on February 25 Kanwar Grewal will add glory to this festival with their performances. The five-day Nature Fest will begin with bird watching at Pong Dam on February 21. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the district residents to make this festival more entertaining and said that this festival will be very entertaining for the people. He said that apart from night camping in Solis and Throli and cyclothon in Lajwanti Stadium, there will also be a children's carnival in Van Chetna Park. Similarly, India vs Pakistan match will be shown in the stadium on February 23.
He said that off-roading will be organized in Cooknet, in which necessary arrangements are being made for the convenience of the participants. People will enjoy boating and jungle safari in Nature Retreat Chauhal. Similarly, on the evening of February 25, singer Kanwar Grewal will perform, after which the Nature Fest will conclude.
The Deputy Commissioner also held a meeting with the officials of various departments in the stadium and gave necessary guidelines.
