February 18 Jalandhar/ Hoshiarpur- APJ Institute of Management and Engineering, Jalandhar in collaboration with NGO A4C Dasuha organized an important seminar on the topic ‘Empowering Young Leaders for Sustainable Development’. The event was dedicated to inspire the youth for sustainable development and leadership and imparting them important knowledge while giving them the right direction.
Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar attended the seminar as the Chief Guest. Other notable personalities included Nix Kumar, IAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, Dr. Kamaljit Singh, Founder and Chairman, Green Planet and Mukul Verma, Executive Director, Savi International, who also shared their views.
The seminar began with the lighting of lamps symbolizing knowledge and light. Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, Apeejay Institute welcomed the distinguished guests while Sanjeev Kumar, President, NGO A4C Dasuha introduced the guests and started the discussion on the main theme of the seminar.
The speakers presented their views on the role of young leaders in sustainable development. They emphasized the importance of education, environmental protection and responsible leadership. The interactive sessions gave the students and attendees an opportunity to interact with experts and learn about the best initiatives related to sustainable development.
