Mandi Gobindgarh, February 17- Desh Bhagat University organised Alumni Meet-2025 in which the alumni shared their success stories with the current students. The alumni present on the occasion reminisced their time spent at the University and expressed gratitude for the role of the University in shaping their careers.

Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur and President Dr. Sandeep Singh interacted with the alumni and shared impactful thoughts on overcoming challenges to achieve success in life. Earlier, the annual convocation of the University celebrated the achievements of the students who successfully completed their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
The Chief Guest was Punjab Power and Public Works Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, who inspired the students with a wise speech and emphasised the importance of education in building a bright future. He also emphasized that this milestone is a new turning point in the lives of the graduates and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their respective fields.
In the presence of Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur and President of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Sandeep Singh, degrees were conferred on the students who successfully completed their courses. Besides, the students were also awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for their outstanding academic excellence.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Harbhajan Singh ETO congratulated all the graduates and wished them success in their future endeavors. During the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhijit H. Joshi shared information about the achievements of the university.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadavarti who thanked the Chief Guest, dignitaries from various fields and other dignitaries for making the event a success.
