Hoshiarpur- Today, MLA Chabbewal Dr. Ishank Kumar visited the middle school of village Lehli Khurd. During this, he held a meeting with the school staff, parents of students and eminent villagers in the school itself and announced the release of a grant of Rs 19.10 lakh to the school for classrooms. On this occasion, Dr. Ishank said that the government is continuously releasing funds for the improvements proposed by them to raise the level of basic facilities in schools, due to which schools are being improved.
The appearance of schools is also being improved by building school buildings, boundary walls, classrooms etc. Due to which students are motivated to come to school. A happy heart and better environment encourages children to perform better in studies. On this occasion, Dr Ishank thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and Hoshiarpur MP Dr Raj Kumar for the grants being released to the schools. Addressing the people present, he said that he is working in his constituency with full service spirit.
He assured the residents of Lehli Khurd that along with the upgradation of the school, other problems of the village will also be resolved on priority basis. Dr Ishank thanked Baba Balraj Singh Ji of village Jian present on the occasion and took his blessings. MLA Dr Ishank said that the respect given by the residents of my constituency means a lot to me and I will always work to maintain it.
Principal Sakhwinder Kaur, Sarpanch Ranjit Singh thanked Dr Ishank on behalf of all the villagers. They thanked Ishank for releasing the grant for the school and said that we are proud of our MLA. Paramveer Singh Lambardar, S. Gurmeet Singh, Panch Som Nath, Numberdar Ranjit Singh, Panch Jasvir Kaur, Panch Baljit Singh, Hardech Singh, Dr. Krishna Gopal, Rajneesh Gulani etc. were present.
