Nawanshahr, Feb 14- A grand event was organized by Shri Guru Ravidas Mission Naujawan Sabha at Mohalla Navi Abadi on the occasion of 648th Prakash Utsav, the birth anniversary of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji, and the event ended with unforgettable memories.
The event started at night with ceremonies by various leaders including Darshan Lal Kaith who performed pooja on Guru Nanak Patshah's picture, Dr Simran Simi donated Rs 11,000 on Bhim Rao Ambedkar's picture, Kashmir Bhatta Germany donated Rs 11,000 on Satguru Ravidas Maharaj's picture, Vishal Bali donated Rs 11,000 on Bhagwan Maharshi Valmiki Maharaj's picture and Councillor Gurmukh Naurad donated Rs 11,000 on Lord Buddha's picture. Raman Mann played an important role in stage management. Kashmir Bhatta Germany and his family were specially honored in this program.
It is worth mentioning that whenever Kashmir Bhatta family comes to know about the marriage of a poor girl, they give auspicious gifts which range from Rs 51,000 to Rs 11,000. Needy students are often helped. This time, students from 8th to 12th class in the district were honored who have achieved important positions, as well as students were honored on the occasion of Mata Rama Bai Ji's birthday, which is being appreciated all around.
On this occasion, Councillor Kamaljit Lal, Satish Kumar Lal, Kashmir Bhatta, Simran Simi while talking to our correspondent said that Guru Ravidas Maharaj ji bowed down to the rulers of that time when poor people were forbidden to go to wells and temples, then Guru Ravidas Maharaj ji preached that the society should unite like bees and said that he wanted to establish a city where people are independent, fearless, without fear, where no one can suppress anyone, this can happen only when one's own power is established.
On this occasion, singer Davinder Dugal recently presented his new religious song "Kirtiyaan De Ne Asil Guru, Guru Nanak Guru Ravidas" and received a lot of appreciation. Apart from this, singers Lovely Navi Abadi, Raman Kumar Mann, Arun Rana, Satwinder Jathumajara, Mahesh Sajan and Balraj Bilga displayed their singing art.
