Zirakpur (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar) 08 September 2025: Constituency MLA Sardar Kuljit Singh Randhawa held an urgent and important meeting with the officials of the Municipal Council today at his sub-office Zirakpur in the presence of his team. The main objective of this meeting was to resolve the damage caused in the area due to continuous heavy rains for the last few days and the problems faced by the people.
MLA Randhawa discussed the issues of cleaning drains and sewers, repair of roads, etc. after the continuous heavy rains and instructed the officials to resolve the problems faced by the people as soon as possible.
He asked the officers of various departments and his entire team to be present at the ground level from today and to go to every ward, street, and locality of the city to inspect the problems faced by the city residents due to rainwater such as sewerage blockage, road repair, water drainage and any other problems and ordered them to submit the inspection report within 24 hours, so that efforts are made to resolve those works as soon as possible and the people do not face any problems in the future.
