Nawanshahr, February 14- Famous musician and singer Jassi Mahalon got deeply shocked when his mother-in-law Amarjit Kaur Grewal, wife of Shri Kashmir Singh Grewal, resident of village Skohpur, passed away. She was 62 years old.
Jassi Mahalon and his wife Gurjit Kaur Sandhawalia told that their mother-in-law Amarjit Kaur suddenly fell ill a few days ago, after which she was admitted to a private hospital, where she breathed her last yesterday. She lost to the disease. Mother Amarjit Kaur lost the battle of life and death, due to which her family is in deep shock.
He told that the body of mother Amarjit Kaur was cremated in her native village Skohpur. He said that the Bhog and Antim Ardas of Maa Amarjit Kaur Namit Paath will be held on February 21 in village Skohpur, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
In this hour of grief, folk singers Narmal Nimma, Davinder Dugal, BR Dimana, Ravi Dimana, Buta Kohinoor, Hardev Chahal, Raj Dadral, Raj Bahrowal, Lakhwinder Lakha Surpuria, Lakhwinder Lakha Charan, Dilbarjit Dilbar, Mika Mubarakpuri, Soni Saroya, Davinder Ruhi, Davinder Bisla, Jagdish Jadla, Manohar Manhar, Clare Kulwant, Mahesh Sajan, Parvez Khan, Anmol Virk, Satnam Ankhi, Sital Bhagoran Wala, Mahesh Sajan, Roop Lal Dhir, SS Azad, Rani Armaan, Poonam Bala, Deep Alachauria, Karnail Dardi said that the closest relationship is with mother.
It is most difficult to bear the separation from mother, because we cannot repay the debt of mother even in seven lives. They prayed to God for peace of the departed soul and also wished to give strength to the family to accept this situation.
