Mohali- Dr. Harjinder Singh Cheema, Chairman of Cheema Boilers Limited and a well-known name in the field of industrial innovation, has said that hydrogen-based vehicles are the clean and sustainable energy of the future. During an exclusive conversation with senior journalist Sanjeev Kumar, Dr. Cheema said that hydrogen is a clean energy source that can change the mode of transportation and reduce dependence on straw or other polluting energy sources.
Owner of more than 8 patents, Dr. Cheema has always shown the mindset of being ahead in the field of innovation. He said, “Hydrogen-powered vehicles are not an option, but a necessity of the future. The government should come forward to promote such clean technologies.”
During the conversation, Dr. Cheema also highlighted the importance of wet kitchen waste, calling it “hidden gold”. “The problem is not the waste,” he said, “the problem is that we do not know how to segregate and use it properly. If approached with the right mindset, it can also become a source of income and energy.”
He urged the government to support scientists and industrialists working on innovations, who are finding sustainable solutions for India’s future. “Innovation does not work alone. It requires policy support, public awareness and industry collaboration,” Dr. Cheema concluded.
