The residents of the locality, troubled by these stray dogs, said that these stray dogs often roam around here and have attacked lonely women, elderly and children many times.
Complaints have been given to the Municipal Council many times in this regard, but no strict action is being taken by the Municipal Council.
All of us residents of the locality are troubled by this terror of stray dogs. We demand from the local government that the Municipal Council should take action against these stray dogs as soon as possible.
When we talked to Sanitary Inspector Rajpura Vikas Chaudhary about this, he told that an open tender has been given for the sterilization of dogs and about 150 stray dogs have been sterilized. But when stray dogs are caught and taken for sterilization, some dog lovers raise objections.
But in reality, every street and locality of Rajpura is troubled by the nuisance caused by these stray dogs. When we talked to SMO Madam Sonia Jangwal about this, she told that more than 200 dog bite cases come to Rajpura hospital and they are treated by us.
