
HIV/AIDS Awareness Day observed at Desh Bhagat University
Mandi Gobindgarh, February 11- Desh Bhagat University School of Nursing celebrated National HIV/AIDS Awareness Day with a grand event aimed at creating awareness about the effects of HIV/AIDS.
Mandi Gobindgarh, February 11- Desh Bhagat University School of Nursing celebrated National HIV/AIDS Awareness Day with a grand event aimed at creating awareness about the effects of HIV/AIDS.
Led by Lovepreet Kaur and Gagandeep Kaur, the event focused on education on HIV prevention, testing and treatment, while highlighting the health disparities faced by marginalized populations. A special feature of the event was the active participation of BSc Nursing 1st Semester and GNM 1st Year students.
These students played a role by delivering health lectures at Government Senior Secondary School Amloh. Principal of School of Nursing Prof. (Dr.) Lovesampuranjot Kaur and Head of Department of Community Health Nursing Dr. Prabhjot Singh were also present on the occasion. Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University Dr. Zora Singh and Pro Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur appreciated the School of Nursing for organising the event.
