
People of village Dagham will get clean water in every house due to water supply scheme constructed at a cost of Rs. 65 lakhs - Rodi
Garhshankar- Fulfilling the long standing demand of the people of village Dagham of Garhshankar assembly constituency for "clean drinking water", today the constituency MLA and Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly, Shri Jai Krishna Singh Rodi inaugurated the water supply scheme constructed at a cost of Rs. 65 lakhs and presented it to the villagers.

Addressing an impressive function on this occasion, Shri Rodi said that earlier the people of village Dagham used to get water from the nearby village Chohre. Due to which the supply could not be done in the entire village and keeping in mind the demand of the villagers, clean water will be provided to the villagers after the start of the new water supply.
Shri Rodi said that development work is going on at a fast pace in various villages. Shri Jai Krishna Singh Rodi approved a grant of Rs. 10 lakh for Shri Guru Ravidas Dharamshala of village Dagham.
On this occasion Charanjit Singh Channi, Baldeep Singh Sarpanch, Balbir Singh Jassi Sarpanch, Roshan Lal Sarpanch Deep Kumar Kamadon, Jujhar Singh Sarpanch, Gulshan Rana Sarpanch, Harmesh Lal, Jaswinder Singh, Parwinder Singh, Amarjit Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Desh Raj SDO Arvind Saini, Saksham Sharma etc were present.
