MLA Jimpa inaugurated street lights on the road leading to Gurdwara Jahara Jahur Sahib

Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated 79 ultra-modern street lights installed on the road leading to Gurdwara Jahara Jahur Sahib Ji, the place where the sixth Guru Shri Guru Hargobind Singh Ji's feet touched, located at Purhiran. These street lights have been installed at a cost of about Rs 35 lakh and dedicated to the residents of the area.

These street lights have been installed at a cost of about Rs 35 lakh and dedicated to the residents of the area.
On this occasion, MLA Jimpa said that this road passing in front of Purhiran police post is not only used by devotees to visit Gurdwara Sahib, but people going towards Jalandhar Road also use this road as a shortcut.
He said that the installation of street lights has improved the security system on the road at night. Earlier, due to lack of lights, robbery and other criminal incidents used to happen here, but now people are feeling more secure.
Giving information, MLA Brahmshankar Jimpa said that keeping in mind safety and beauty, street lights have also been installed in other important areas of the city.
These include roads from Naloiya Chowk, Lord Valmiki's statue to Tanda Road, Food Street, Sadar Thana Chowk to Food Street and Food Street to Indoor Stadium. He said that in future, street lights will also be installed in those parts of the city where there is no arrangement of light yet, so that the entire city can be made safe and beautiful.
MLA Jimpa said that all this has been possible due to the visionary policies of the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Thanking the Chief Minister, he said that his government is constantly making efforts to provide better basic facilities to every city and village of Punjab.
On this occasion, the residents of the area thanked MLA Brahmshankar Jimpa and appreciated his move. During this, Mayor Surinder Kumar, Councilor Jaswant Rai, Councilor Manjit Kaur, Kush Sharda, Ranjit, members of the Gurudwara Managing Committee and other dignitaries were also present.
