Una, June 19- The final draft of delimitation of wards of Municipal Council Mehatpur-Basdehra and Municipal Panchayats Amb, Gagret, Daulatpur Chowk, Tahliwal, Santoshgarh and Bangana in Una district has been published. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal has issued the relevant order using the powers conferred under Rule 9 of Himachal Pradesh Municipal Corporation Election Rules, 2015.
He informed that under Rule 6(1) of Himachal Pradesh Municipal Election Rules, 2015, a notification regarding the proposed draft for dividing municipalities into wards and determining the boundaries of each ward was issued on June 2. According to this notification, objections and suggestions were invited from the citizens till June 9. No objections or suggestions were received within the stipulated time period and the said draft has been finally published. These will be the boundaries of the wards:- 

Nagar Parishad Mehtpur Basdehra-
The Deputy Commissioner informed that Ward 1 of Nagar Parishad Mehtpur Basdehra includes the industrial area parallel to Jakhera village from the culvert near the RTO barrier in the north, the boundary of Morbad village towards Sood Electronics (near Keval Lohar) in the south, Radha Swami Satsang Ghar towards the boundary wall of the industrial area along Jakhera village in the east. Ward 2 to the north includes boundary of Morbad village towards Keval Lohar shop, Harijan Mohalla towards Pradeep's house (Geeta Colony) towards Pradeep's house (Geeta Colony), PNB bya Dhera Street to the west, crossing Raipur Road from Darshan Tea Stall towards Pradeep's house in Geeta Colony and Harijan Mohalla towards Manohar Lal (Mohalla Bahti) towards the boundary of village Morbarad to the east, Ward No. 3 to the north, from culvert near RTO barrier to boundary of village Dehlan, Bishan Swaroop's house towards Naina Devi temple to the south, Madan Lal's house till Basdehra Gate, Bishan Singh Swaroop's house to the west, from Kapil's house from the boundary of Dehlan village till RTO barrier and towards Basdehra Gate to the east till RTO barrier. The area includes. Ward 4 includes the area from Diwan Singh's Jhungi to Nagar Panchayat Sarai to Mohinder Pal's house towards Saraswati's house in Mohalla Fengar, to the south from Hari Kishan Kuku's shop to Husan Chand's shop to Dr. Kewal's house to Manmohan's house, to the west from Diwan Singh's Jhungi towards Vishwakarma temple to Hari Kishan Kuku's shop and to the east from Mohalla Fengar to Manmohan's house to Dr. Kewal's house to Husan Chand's shop. Ward No. 5 includes the area from Shanti Swaroop's house towards Basdehra Gate near Chaudhary Sweet Shop to the north, the area of ??Nagar Panchayat Shopping Complex near the overhead water tank towards Budh Dev's shop to the south, the area from Ram Asari's Gurudwara to Ram Kumar Chakra to Sikandar's house to Budh Dev's shop in the west and the area from Chaudhary Sweet Shop near Basdehra Gate to Raja Meat Shop and to the east from Nagar Panchayat Shopping Complex near the overhead water tank to Chaudhary Sweet Shop near Basdehra Gate. Ward no 6 includes the area from Pirthi's house to the north on Raipur road up to Sharma Medical Store, on the south parallel to the house of Raj Kumar son of Ratan Chand towards Punjab border to the house of Gurpal son of Tilak Raj, on the west from Pirthi Chand's house to Maya Devi's house from Prem Singh flour mill to Data Ram's house from Subhash's house to Raj Kumar son of Ratan Chand's house and on the east from Gurpal son of Tilak Raj's house towards Sukhdev's house to Medical Store on Raipur road. Ward no 7 includes the boundary of JR Model School in Dehlan village towards Soma Devi's house, on the south from Data Ram's house towards Sharifan's house to Pandit Salig Ram's house, on the perimeter from the boundary of Raipur village parallel to Data Ram's house to Mian Jatinder Singh's house and on the east towards Pandit Salig Ram's house to Soma Devi's house on Dehlan road. Ward No. 8 includes the area from Karna Chand's house to Ghugga temple in the north, from GPS Basdehad to Guru Ravidas temple in the south, from Pratim Sandhu's house to Pawan Kumar son of Ramnath's house, from Pawan Kumar's house in the paricham to Raipur Gate to Mohalla Bhatti to Karmchand's house and from GPS Basdehada to Patwar Khana in the east to Ghugga temple. The Deputy Commissioner informed that in Ward No. 1 Polian Jaswal of Nagar Panchayat Amb, the ward has been expanded from the house of Mastan Singh to Poliyan Jaswal (full revenue village), Mansoh Tikri (full revenue village), Additional Amb, from the house of former minister Praveen Sharma to the house of Manmohan Singh, Dr Bihari Lal. In Ward No. 2 Amb 1, the ward has been expanded from IPH office Amb Nehriyan Road (northern side), GSS Amb to Amb Chowk, Amb Mubarikpur Road (east side), SDM office College Polian Jaswal Road (southern side), SDM office, Court/CGM office to Siddh Channo Mandir. He informed that in ward number 1 of Nagar Panchayat Gagret, starting from the eastern end of Shri Kishori Lal's house, from Begicha Karb towards the western end to the house of Shri Dhruv Singh etc. From Gagret Khad, from Tubewell No. 48, from old Amb Road, from Shri Mahesh Badi's house to Radhey Sham Mandir, from near the well, from Mahesh Chand's house towards Bharwain Road on the right side to Shri Kishori Lal's house, passing through the boundary of this ward, touching the boundary of ward number 1 near Kishori Lal's house. In ward number 2, starting from the southern end of Radha Sham Mandir, from the left side of SBI to the left of Choi, northwards to Rana Ram Singh's house and then through the winding path to the boundary of Nagar Panchayat Gagret and from the left side on Amb Road towards the complaint office of Sub Station Bijli Crossing Amb Road and then to Radha Sham Mandir.
