Hoshiarpur - National Legal Services Authority, Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, New Delhi in compliance with the orders of Member Secretary Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman District Legal Services Authority Under the leadership of Dilbagh Singh Johal, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Hoshiarpur Aparajita Joshi, the first National Lok Adalat of the year 2024 is being organized on 9 March 2024 at the district level and sub-division level.
In this regard, CJM Aparajita Joshi held a meeting with officials of various departments, back managers at the new district and session court complex today. During this meeting, instructions were given to bank managers regarding pre-litigative cases that maximum number of cases should be filed in this Lok Adalat. So that the public can get the benefit of this Lok Adalat. BDPO Talwara, BDPO Mahilpur, BDPO Hoshiarpur 1 and 2, BDPO Tanda have been instructed to do maximum publicity in the villages regarding the National Lok Adalat to be held on March 9, 2024. went
Apart from this, the Secretary District Legal Services directed Police Officer SP Miss Navneet Kaur Gill regarding the National Lok Adalat to pay the pending challans through this Lok Adalat in the courts. The cases were discussed with Axion-1 of the Electricity Department. District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission member Prem Singh Salaria of Hoshiarpur and assistant officers of insurance companies regarding MACT padding cases were told during the meeting that if maximum number of cases are settled in the National Lok Adalat to be held on March 9, 2024. So that people can get the benefit of this Lok Adalat.
