Instructed to ensure that the ongoing works are completed on time and to take special care of the quality of the ongoing works.
On this occasion, he said that the work of multi-storied residence being constructed at a cost of Rs 17.67 crore for senior resident doctors will be completed by December 31, 2024, while the work of the residence being constructed at a cost of Rs 15.58 crore for medical college staff will begin by July 5, 2024. will be done The work of accommodation for the employees of grade three and four, which is being constructed at a cost of Rs 76.32 crore, will also be completed in the next six months. About 90 percent of the newly constructed sports stadium at the Medical College at a cost of Rs 4.75 crore has been completed and will be completed by 31 July 2024.
He said that the work of junior doctors' residence being constructed at a cost of Rs 13.52 crore will be completed by September 30. While the work of audiology room (ENT department) has been completed with 31 lakh rupees. He said that the construction work of the state of the art emergency cum trauma center will be started soon after the completion of the medical procedures. The Health Minister said that the work of the ETP plant of Rajindra Hospital has also been completed by 95 percent and is being continuously tested. On this occasion, the Health Minister discussed the facilities to be provided at the Government Rajindra Hospital, including identifying a place for the Chief Minister Patient Facilitation Center for the convenience of patients and their family members.
After the meeting, Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh visited various wards including emergency and ICU of Government Rajindra Hospital and talked to the patients and family members of the patients and said that continuous improvement efforts were made in the priority health sector of Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Singh Maan. are going Under which the facility of medicines is being provided to the admitted patients free of charge within the hospital itself. On this occasion, he ordered the concerned officials that no patient or family member should be allowed to face any kind of difficulty And ensure that all medicines are provided by the hospital.
He said that if the case of ordering medicine from outside the hospital comes to light, strict action will be taken against the concerned officer.
