Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 25, 2025: Exercising powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of Agam Immigration and Education Consultant firm.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that Harjeet Singh (Proprietor) son of Nirbhay Singh resident of House No. 370, Samadhi Gate, Manimajra, Chandigarh (UT)-160101, owner of Agam Immigration and Education Consultant firm SCO No. 22 2nd Floor, Vasant Vihar, Himmatgarh, Phase-1 Dhakauli, Zirakpur, Tehsil Derabassi, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar was issued Travel Agency Work License No. 237/IC dated 26.11.2018. The validity of this license expired on 25.11.2023.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that due to the licensee not submitting monthly reports as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, not getting the license renewed, not responding/giving clarification to the notice and not following the sections of the license, the firm and the licensee, exercising the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, have cancelled the license number 237/IC dated 26.11.2018 issued to Agam Immigration and Education Consultant firm with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible for it in every way and will also be responsible to compensate for it.
