Yoga camps organized at various places in the district under CM's Yogashala - SDM Amit Gupta
SAS Nagar, November 16, 2024: Keeping the demand and health of the people in mind, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launched the Healthy Punjab Mission; Free Yoga classes are being held every day at different places in the district SAS Nagar under the CM's Yogashala. People are participating in these classes in large numbers and making their bodies healthy.
SAS Nagar, November 16, 2024: Keeping the demand and health of the people in mind, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launched the Healthy Punjab Mission; Free Yoga classes are being held every day at different places in the district SAS Nagar under the CM's Yogashala. People are participating in these classes in large numbers and making their bodies healthy.
Apart from the elderly, children are also participating in these camps. People are getting rid of chronic and common diseases with the help of yoga in the CM's Yogashala. During these camps, yoga teachers are also making people aware of the benefits of yoga and making them aware of healthy living. Giving more information in this regard, SDM Derabassi Amit Gupta said that CM Yogashala classes are proving to be a boon for the health of the people.
A large number of district residents are benefiting from these yoga classes. Yoga sessions start from 5:00 am and have different time slots till evening. According to SDM Amit Gupta, yoga classes are being conducted at 5 places in Derabassi by expert yoga trainer Megha Saxena.
In which the first class is held at Bhuda Sahib Gurdwara, Zirakpur near Ramgarh from 5:00 am to 6:00 am; the second and third classes are held at Green Lotus Shaksam Park, Zirakpur from 6:30 am to 7:30 am; and from 7.35 to 8:35 pm; and the fourth class is held at Ward No. 24, Village Ramgarh from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The fifth class is held at House No. 2 (near Peepal tree) in Village Ramgarh from 6:05 pm to 7:05 pm. Where yoga training is given without charging any fee.
He said that anyone can come to these classes and get the benefit of yoga for free. He said that if a person wants to start a class in his colony or park, then at least 25 members are required and they can call/message on the WhatsApp number to start their new class/session. People are participating in these sessions voluntarily.
