Hoshiarpur- Vardhman A & E Group has provided 10 computer sets to the Red Cross Society, run under the leadership and guidance of Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Society Komal Mittal, for the students pursuing typing and shorthand course at Red Cross School of Vocational Nursing, under its CSR responsibility.
Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal appreciated this initiative of Vardhman Group and thanked them. He said that till now more than 250 students have received training through this center, out of which many students have also been successfully placed.
Secretary of District Red Cross Society Mangesh Sood said that Vardhman A & E Group has renovated the Red Cross School of Vocational Learning located in Red Cross Complex under its CSR initiative. Under this initiative, Computer Training Center, Beauty and Wellness Training Center, Type and Shorthand Center and Professional Accountancy Course have been equipped with modern equipment.
Its objective is to provide technical and practical knowledge to the students. Apart from this, Vardhman Group also provides motorized and non-motorized tricycles to disabled persons from time to time. On this occasion, Vardhman Group's Director Finance and Administration Tarun Chawla, Chief Security Head Pradeep Dadwal and other employees of Red Cross were also present.
