SAS Nagar, January 8- In connection with the tribute ceremony to be held in Sector 80 on January 12 in memory of late Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, a meeting of the elders of the villages of Mohali constituency and Congress leaders and workers was held at Sector 78 under the leadership of former Cabinet Minister Sardar Balbir Singh Sidhu today.
During this meeting held at the residence of Municipal Corporation Mayor Amarjit Singh Jeeti Sidhu; Former Cabinet Minister Sardar Balbir Singh Sidhu highlighted the contribution made by Dr. Manmohan Singh in the progress of the country. And gave information about the RTI Act, Right to Education Act, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, MNREGA, Food Security Bill and other important works made during Dr. Manmohan Singh's tenure as Prime Minister. He also assigned duties to Congress workers regarding this tribute ceremony during the meeting.
