
A poor family of Dallewal village is unable to get treatment due to lack of money

A similar case is of Dallewal village of Beet area. Here 33-year-old Meena Kumari got married 15 years ago, whose husband works as a painter.

10 years ago Baljeet Kumar had worms in his leg, which he got treated by a local doctor and now Baljeet Kumar is bedridden for the last 2 years. Baljeet Kumar has 2 sons and the elder son is 13 years old, who has to undergo appendicitis operation and the younger son is 11 years old and his wife Meena Kumari is supporting her family by cleaning utensils in someone's house.
Meena Kumari said that till date no one has listened to us, we told all the Sarpanchs to get our husband treated but after saying all this they went away but till date no one has helped. The ration card was also made after 15 years, we have only received its receipt and have not received the card yet.
Meena Kumari said that my husband Baljeet Kumar is currently undergoing treatment at PGI Chandigarh, but due to lack of money, we cannot go to PGI Chandigarh because it costs a lot there and we are forced to take medicines from local doctors. Meena Kumari has appealed to the government to help us in getting my husband and my elder son treated.
Meena Kumari said with a heavy heart that sometimes we do not even have money to eat.
