Hoshiarpur- Rotary Club of Hoshiarpur organized a family reunion-cum-official arrival ceremony of District Governor at a special farm house located behind Bhagitaara Physiotherapy Center at the end of the year 2024. The ceremony was presided over by Principal Sneh Jain and District Governor District 3070 Amritsar Dr. Grover attended as the chief guest.
Apart from this, this family reunion ceremony became a special function of Rotary District. The old District Governor and the newly elected District Governor specially attended it. Rotarian S.P. Grover, Ruby Hospital Jalandhar, Dr. U.S. Ghai, Rotarian Anil Singhal, District Governor-Elect Arun Jain, G.S. Bawa were special guests. On this occasion, on the arrival of the New Year, there was a gathering of Rotary family and Rotary officials from all over the district in the club.
Chief guest Dr. Pushwinder Singh Grover said in his address that the Punjab government is serving humanity. The work of Rotary Club Hoshiarpur is very important. He said that serving humanity is the best service and he inspected the work being done by Rotary Club Hoshiarpur and appreciated all the works. On the demand of the chief guest, the members of Rotary Club donated 1000 US dollars for the Pulse Polio program of Rotary International.
This entire program was organized by the club under the supervision of former District Governor G.S. Bawa and Ashok Jain Project Chairman. On this occasion, the District Governor inducted the new member of Rotary Club, Pradeep Kumar Parashar, a retired officer of State Bank of India, into Rotary by giving him a Siropa. In the end, all the guests who came were honored with mementos.
On this occasion Rotarians G.S. Bawa, Surinder Vij, Arun Jain, President Sneh Jain, Secretary Timtani Ahluwalia, Rajinder Modgil, Ravi Jain, Yogesh Chandra, Pradeep Parashar, Madam Taranjit Kaur, Surinder Kumar, Madam Om Kanta, Ashok Jain, Ranjit Kumar, Dr., Sanjeev Kumar, Lampi Ahluwalia, Chandra Shareen, Suman Nayyar etc were present.
