DBU organised Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath dedicated to the martyrdom of Sahibzadas

Mandi Gobindgarh, December 24- The School of Nursing of Desh Bhagat University organised Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath dedicated to the martyrdom of Sahibzadas of the tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The University leadership including Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, President Dr. Sandeep Singh and Vice President Dr. Harsh Sadavarti attended the occasion. In her address, Dr. Zora Singh emphasised the importance of daily meditation and inspired to follow the universal Sikh principle of ‘Sarbat de Bhale’.

On the occasion, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur recalled the martyrdom of Sahibzadas and highlighted the need to adopt spiritual teachings in daily life to uphold the values ??of unity and peace. Dr. Luvsampurnjot Kaur, Principal, School of Nursing and Dr. Prabhjot Singh, Head of the Department shared information about the significance of Gurbani and its profound messages of peace, sacrifice and brotherhood.
The event was also attended by Dr. Varinder Singh, Advisor to Chancellor and Dr. Surjit Kaur Patheja, among other eminent personalities. Dr. Kanwaljit Singh and Bibi Rajinder Kaur Mumbai enthralled the audience with their shabad singing on the occasion.
