National Road Safety Month observed from 01 January to 31 January

Mann, DSP Traffic Karnail Singh, Traffic Education Cell Incharge ASI Janak Raj, Lady Constable Khushpreet Kaur, SO Ranpreet Singh Secretary, State Transport Authority PB01 Punjab organized a seminar regarding National Road Safety Month from 01 January to 31 December at Government High School, Saneta SAS Nagar with the people who came to get their vehicles passed.

Keeping in mind the foggy days, information was given about not driving under the influence of alcohol and about traffic rules, about not driving at an early age, about getting compensation from the Salesian Fund in case of an accident with an unknown vehicle, about lane driving, about environmental protection by not using pressure horns. He appealed to install high security number plates on vehicles, wear helmets on two-wheelers, park vehicles properly instead of parking them on the road, use indicators while turning left or right, do not violate red lights, and do not drive in any manner.
Instructions have been given not to burst crackers on Bullet motorcycles and not to modify them while being drunk. All traffic rules should be strictly followed to reduce road accidents. Information was given to call helpline numbers 112 and 181 for getting and giving assistance from the police, and to call 1930 for cyber crime.
